I make art because I love to. I have a body of work that now spans 26 years. Painting is my first love. On canvas, walls, clothing, cars, theater sets, using acrylics, oils, watercolors, air brush, latex, and fabric dye.
When I was 32 years old I became homeless for some time. Life just carried me in that direction. Having to give up my materials for painting due to a lack of a place to keep them I went a got some marker pens and a coloring book of geometric shapes. It was like re-learning how to express myself, even though through paint and a large space I was a pro. Soon the coloring books gave way to blank paper. I searched for the right pens for me. I found the water base brush pens. They gave back some of the paint motion and helped me to be a better illustrator.

After some time passed and life had changed and by good grace I was not homeless for too long. (I am very lucky, others are not so and there are too many people in the U.S. forced to survive in a transient life style with no place to call home. Which is crazy if one consideres that if pooled there is money to give every human being in the U.S. a place to call home) I had a small windfall, due to the loss of my maternal grandfather. It was just enough for me to go digital. I bought a computer, and a scanner, and discovered Photoshop. There was a whole new world opened up to me. Now the smallest doodle could become a work of art that I could send anywhere in the world. Everyday I get a little comment or email about how much someone enjoyed looking at something that I created.
I am hoping that whoever reads this or views the work and likes something will buy a card or print. Every little bit helps!
For Now,
I wish everyone who reads this,
Love, Peace, Light, Grace, Hope, and a place to call home
