Mt cat Tsavo and a wooden zebra stool. He loves standing in the sun of magic hour! He was named after Tsavo National Park in Kenya. My roommates and I broke down in the middle of that park while driving to an NGO in a nearby village. The driver ran off with the flat tire. We took turns going to the bathroom behind a giant ant hill, while looking out for the park’s famous “man-eating” lions. It was around the magic hour (twilight) that the driver finally came back. We drove off into the next town, called Voi. But the sing read, "Welcome to the Voi d " as the letters following were missing. It would have read, “Welcome to The Voi – Drinks and Food Stop”. This photo reminds me of that day – wonderful and full of adventure!
