Fort Bridger by

The Original is a diptych on two 8″ × 8″ hand stretched canvases, in oil glazes, on a gloss ground

It’s landscape of a cloudy fall day at Fort Bridger Wyoming.

In 2002 I drove solo cross country to see the Atlantic Ocean for the first time, it took me a month and I stopped a lot of places along the way, this was one of the first roadside attractions I stopped at. It was a beautiful cloudy day and I really enjoyed my stop there.

Of course I am a big geeky fan of cloudy days and museums full of odds and ends. So it was really kind of a perfect day for me.

The Original is also available for sale, here
