Oh my!! Not only a wonderful shot Anne, but fascinating too! It looks to be almost half an acre of land they’re sitting on. How gorgeous, and such a lovely big house! Is this typical of ‘country’ Massachusetts? How far from the city would this be Anne? I just love it! .....oh!! and I’m in real estate, so when I look at a propertysuch as this, my head starts guaging the number of bedrooms, land size, age and aspect. Sorry! lolol!
Thank you Magee – where we live (Belchertown) is the third largest in size in Massachusetts but very low population. That is changing but the areas around are still fairly rural in feel – 5 colleges and lots of interesting main streets but not much crowding elsewhere. I have a son in Real Estate – not the greatest pfofession right now in this country, but we are looking at change, I trust.
Thank you so much Anne! You live in a gorgeous area by the sounds of it. We all take so many ‘distant’ scenery shots, but it’s so refreshing to see one that hones in in such a personal way, giving us a real feel for the area. Real estate’s not much better here either Anne, and hasn’t been for some time, but our interest rates are falling. Three drops in the past 3 months in fact, which hopefully might bring us some relief soon. I think it’s pretty much a global problem right now. xx

This is a lovely photo and scene. I think I see a house, barn, and trailer all very close together.
Looks like a beautiful area.
