Lyon is the third largest Metropolitan city of France. The city itself is in the list of UNESCO’s World Heritage sites. The city is famous for its architecture, culture and gastronomy. I spent 3 nights and 4 days in this city last year, and visited again this year! Its more renowned for the “Fete des Lumieres” that takes place every year for 4 days (between 8th Dec), but normally too on any other day, the city’s night lighting is mesmerizing. The monuments come into life as the sun goes down, a special feast for the eyes.
