The inspiration was Dali and his works. The time on this piece was 52 hours, 50+ layers, (I lost count) and severe irritation but plenty of fun.

I recognise some minor elements you’ve incorporated from some of Dali’s work….....haha!!!, the texturing on the sky is brilliant too.

Yeah I had to keep my style and blend with his
the best I could. The sky took a while, I had a
sharp white line that was difficult to clean after
the merge. Thank you so much for the boost!

Yes, the love and admiration of Dali is what it was all for.
I was frustrated at first but stopped thinking about Dali

Ah, thank you. I love Dali, he was such an amazing personality
and talent. I wanted to take my time but I got very anxious to
finish to see what it looked like. I see plenty of mistakes so I
will have to do a run through.. I’ll have to tack on an hour haha.

contest was a no brainer for me, I felt an obligation to

Oh wow! I was going to mention the resemblance to Salvador Dali’s work, i didn;t realise anybody else thought like me! Very beautiful…one of my faves..you truly are an amazing artist!
