Fantastic work!
Elena Ray
the image is so classically beautiful, yet weird-the neck/candle so so disturbing yet a candle is nice, while the cradling of the head is somehow comforting yet…many paradox’s here. truly in the spirit of the original surrealists. great work!
Ash Sivils replied
Thank you Elena! Your critique is what I was headed for with this image. You see it as I do – thankfully!

No mirror eyes,
no thoughts mirroring.
Consciousness lightening…
in quiet reserve and silence.
Rosa (perfect symbolism… eyes shaded… head close to heart.. vapours and enigmatic stillness… I love it…. meditate upon it)

Tessaract is a 4 dimensional construct, a hyper Cartesian-plane intersection. Early Surrealists used this modal as viewpoint to first construct a 2d graphic representation of 3d scene, then re-viewing same as if from outside our supposed reality. Symbol/archetypes required then new interpretations, but not necessarily defined meanings, hence sur (above, outside) -real (rational didactic). As Elana Ray commented, this (and most works I see in your port here) is in that tradition of seeking questions rather than answers, excellently done. I second RosaCobos, just not as poetically.
