Nice Marco mate. I love the action the seeds starting to fly away. It really makes this picture special for me. It reminds me all those times I would pick one and blow the seeds off or walk past one and kick it or slap my friends in the head with them so they get covered in seeds. Oh wait I just did that yesterday. haha. Good times.

Sorry where was I? Oh yeah. Great shot and nice selection of Greyscale too. Gives it almost a memory like or olden days feel about it.

Out of interest i took a shot of dandilion in the garden ….. not bad but not good. Today i’ve seen this wonderful shot you have taken and am glad i never ventured furthwe with mine. such a superb capture … i especially like the rouge seeds…..........a fav.

I find this image to be very compelling. I have come back to it time and again.
A very simple subject yet your processing and presentation have made it dramatic and thought provoking.
The subject is adequately sharp for such a mood shot, there is a good bokeh, the tonal range is very good and the contrast most pleasing.

This is very beautiful. The very shallow DoF is so sharp, it’s like crystal; the background is such a beautiful contrast in the tones of the dandelion that it’s perfect. The tonings you have used also add to the clarity extremely well. Exquisite image.
