I created a four piece series depicting silence for my university assignment and not using any words. Using graphite pencils, letraset markers, photographing (glass), charcoal, photocopying and collage techniques.

This is part B.

It starts when someone feels trapped but wants to tear the walls down and smash something to break free to actually doing that – shattering the fear a person has when they are told not to speak, not to do anything and are abused daily to bearing the scars and then being free. The shattered glass, shattered head and red tears are signifying the pain and suffering, whilst the white is freedom/peace/silence..
