Thought waves
Rippling out
In every direction
Will they reach her heart’s shore
Will she know
That they are mine
Will she know
That I am
Feeling her
Aching for her
Bleeding for her
Needing to hear
Even a word
From her

Can the wake
Of my passion
Be turned into
A tsunami
Powerful enough
To penetrate
Her armor
Of indifference

She is a wounded skylark
That has lost its way
Because she could not stop
Watching the clouds dance
I am the foolish hunter
Who has lost his head and heart
And now
Gambles his soul
For one chance
To embrace
Her broken body
And taste her
Bittersweet sorrow

She is I,
Her tears fall
From my eyes
My sadness
Is a fountain
Pouring cobalt rain
Into her cup
Of jasmine pain
Razor wire
Encircles
And tightens
Around my heart
Puncturing it
Causing it to ooze
Crimson paint
With each inhalation
The spikes dig deeper and slice
More paint drips onto the canvas of my soul
Stained and pained
The longing swells
The distance grows
And my agony is ecstasy

I lay my emotional Flagellation
At her feet with
Offerings of love, devotion
And supplication
Burgundy, pink and red rose
Scented candles burning
In my hearth of desire
My prayer;
To ignite a wildfire
In her heart and soul
To walk through it faithfully
And to worship her holy heart
Wholly and solely

Claudia, I am so so very sorry!! I intended to answer. But I had gotten behind on my comments and tried to catch up yesterday. But I fear that I had missed some. Please know that I don’t care that English is not your first language, I adore you and truly cherish your friendship! It was an oversight on my part. A very foolish one.
