Poppy’s mother was cruelly poisoned when Poppy was less than 2 months old. Her mother did not survive. Poppy thankfully did and has since been successfully released after 6 months in care. Ivy, her shy friend on the right was abandoned by her mother for unknown reasons. She was released with Poppy as they were inseparable!
All raised proceeds go to Possum Tales Wildlife Shelter helping orphaned and injured Australian wildlife.
Ha, this is so cute, and all very familiar to me, we have a resident lady (Harley) who we fostered when she could fit in your hand, obviously orphaned but already resourceful, sleeping in one of our tiny birdhouses but she outgrew it and has had 8 babies since then which is very hard on our painted verandah rails for one thing. Cute names for these two. Do you look after them yourself Amber? Bron
Yes I do. That’s why I’m trying to raise funds. I do love possums :)
