Across The BandStand - Ground Level View by

This interesting shot was taken at sunset last winter at Verona Park, Verona NJ. There is a very old stone bandstand that sits in the park. As a child (50 years ago) I was fascinated with this bandstand, thinking it was some kind of castle or fortress. it is at least 4 to 5 feet high. As my daughter and I walked around the park in the snow, we wanted to get reflections photos on the ice and snow, especially since it was a lovely sunset. I came to the bandstand and thought it would be fun to stand at the level of the floor of the bandstand and look across it. there was a ring of ice around the edge and then snow in the middle. this photo is definitely a LOW angle photo as I am looking across the FLOOR of the bandstand. what a fun shot. I never looked at it until this year, a whole year later, and I was happy with the way it turned out, so I share it now with you.
