Artist's Description

I am so thankful for a loving caring family that extends back generations.

This photo was taken by my mother when I was a baby – the handsome young man in the middle is my father. He is the oldest of 9 children. On either side of him are two of his younger brothers. They were having a birthday party for the three of them – my father who was the oldest had the same birthday as the youngest boy, who is to his right, and then my uncle on the left had a birthday only 2 days difference than theirs.

Uncle Don, my father Edward, Uncle Vic

I love this shot because they are all holding hands on the cake cutter and you can tell they love each other alot. good to see men who are not afraid to show their care and love for their family. My dad and his brothers and sisters have always been close even though there were so many of them!
