Colorful Crosswalk, Art District, Lincoln Nebraska by

finished in Top Ten, An enclosed walkway over a street challenge, Photography Challenge Group, 7-May-12

Featured in the Photography Challenge Group, 28-May-12

My daughter represented the State of NJ in bocce at the Special Olympics National games last summer, July 2011. It was held in Lincoln Nebraska. My two daughters and myself went there – I had never been to a city like this one. I live near NYC but this city was nothing like it. One thing that amazed me was the number of crosswalks between buildings – they are literally on almost every other street. I loved this one in the Art district with the painting on it of people walking across. Just around the corner from this was another walkway all of greenish tinted glass.

My name is Jane. I am an artist, writer, photographer, and an admirer of the arts. Here on RB I share my photography, writing, collages and art, and host many groups. I hope you enjoy my work.
