(And She Awoke) Not only do I (duh) love the overall painting (beautiful composition, color washes and concept) but I particularly like how her hands are in the act of sprawling out tentatively, as if with wonder and questioning upon return to the world as it is. I could go on and on about those hands lol.
Another lovely work, great size and the slash of white (dress) adds a great sense of movement and ‘flight’ (although I realize of course she isn’t flying but you know what I mean.)
