Melody of Life
Here’s a pen and ink drawing I’ve been working on recently. The unoriginal title is borrowed from a song in Final Fantasy IX.
I started with a pencil sketch which I transferred onto a fresh piece of paper for inking. The lineart was drawn using black fineliners on A3 paper, scanned in two halves and a coloured gradient was added in Photoshop. Background textures are thanks to ImagineFX’s free resources.
Inspired by Yoshitaka Amano. =)
Tools: Letraset fineliners, Photoshop, Wacom Tablet, etc.
Time Spent: Around five hours
