I went along to a creative networking event here in Brisbane last thursday called Sprinkl. I’m usually pretty cautious when it comes to " creative networking" events. I’ve been to some pretty horrible ones, usually filled with accountants, social media and business types with not a single creative person in sight. Fortunately, Sprinkl is absolutely wonderful. I met some great photographers, illustrators, dance studio people, designers…etc
It was a fantastic evening ( and I can highly recommend it for anyone in Brisbane who wants to meet some great people ).
They had a door prize going; you placed your business card in a bowl, and the selected winner gets a free set of printed cards from the great chaps at Salt Print
I didn’t have any business cards, but what I DID have were my octopus head, bowler hat man, and sloth drawings in Sticker form! I figured, what the hell; Wrote my name and contact details on the back of the sticker, and started handing them out! I ended up giving every single one away, as well as 5 copies of my book, and winning the business card prize!
Here is a selection of cards from the night. You can see my octopus dude in the top left corner.
So, thankyou very much redbubble for providing such an awesome stickery-service. I definitely stood out among the general card-based crowd and I got to meet some really great creative people. I mentioned your name lots, so hopefully there will be some new redbubblers coming your way soon.

I didn’t know we could make stickers in RB…!
I spotted your octopus sticker, it stands out from the crowd ;)
Congratulations on these pleasant successes, Anthony.

Thankyou!
Yeah! Any t-shirt design can also be printed as a sticker.
