Nice one Amanda and the fact that it is very different adds greatly to it’s attractiveness. We used to visit Capel a lot – do you remember the Bubbling Billy restaurant? That was really first class.. Duriug the 90’s we did the photos at the Primary School every year and also did the Pre Primary for a few years so have acquired quite an affinity with the area. Take care, Peter
Thanks Peter, I am afraid to say I don’t know the Bubbling Billy – but I know the school as my nieces go there now, the principal is in fact my old year four teacher from when I was at school. Each time I visit I want to move there, such an amazing sense of community and you can walk to the pub too which is a bonus.
It’s still pretty dry and lifeless here in Bridgetown ATM but it’s lovely to be reminded of what is to come :)
Thanks for looking and commenting Bob, I appreciate it. This photo was taken only a few weeks ago on the ANZAC Day long weekend – the river still had some water flowing so I am guessing this is why the grass is still growing nicely, unlike the rest of WA after the dryest weather for a very long time.
