Most of the fence posts were missing and the barbed wire was supported on star pickets in some spots and was left hanging in others.
This photo was taken next to the road about 20 kms from Derby at a lay away set up for road crews to park their vehicles while relaying roads up north. We were delivering cement and a spare tanker to them.
Thanks Roy, I have been using the manual focus a bit more lately and I think it allows me to control the images a bit more – I am pleased with this one. Thanks for looking and commenting.
Excellent work. Yes, manual has come through for me when the average that the camera shoots leaves something lacking. See if you’d like to put in the Group DON’T FENCE ME IN They’re there for fences, and fences they have! This is a good candidate, I think!
Thanks Dayonda for the link to the group, I will check it out and will submit some of my work if it is suitable. Thanks for the kind comment too, glad you like it!
