Your Throat Chakra is located in the throat.
This chakra houses your communication and sound, it is from this place you communicate and express yourself.

The mantra or function of this chakra is
“I SPEAK!”.

This is a series of seven meditative paintings, each one represents one of the seven chakras. This last year has been one of much change for me, I have been going through a metamorphosis of sorts, following my own unique spiritual path towards awakening and enlightenment. Throughout this time I have experienced many personal transformations, a truly beautiful although sometimes difficult journey of self-discovery, self-acceptance and self-love.

Each one of these paintings in this series is very special and significant for me, each one a separate meditation on that specific chakra. I paid very close attention to my breath as I painted, I stayed very much inside myself, inside my body as I painted. I meditated on each specific chakra within my own body and imaged the energy wheels turning and burning brightly inside as I worked.
