hello!

I am just about to start university, doing my fine art degree, at the Arts Institute at Bournemouth where i have just finished a National Diploma.

i work with about 90% recycled materials, often using craft techniques within my pieces, such as crochet, embroidery, beading and origami.

My work has been called low art, because i tend to stay away from the elitism of the art world.

my work is very bright and bold, often quite large fabric pieces (i very rarely work on canvas)

i work with issues that interest me and i am actively involved in, i.e anti-war, environmental issues, protest, police brutality and the new age traveller movement. I do however sometimes work simply to create something beautiful with no meaning

i sometimes work in photography, preferring film to digital.
