This is beautiful, love the whole feel of the image. The HDr really enhances the feel of the surrondings, and you sitting waiting for the storm makes the image complete. May i ask did you have the camera on a timer so you could poise when it went off. : )

I used a remote ML-L3… put the camera in delayed remote mode (10 secs)... I had to guess when the shot was done, the waves were far to noisy…so what you cant see is me counting….hahaha

Great composition – this shot seems to have everything, good lead-in, atmospheric clouds,natural colours, and although I am not normally one for adding people into landscapes it really makes a difference here.

I like this for so many reason – firstly because it evokes a response…the pending storm, sadness, regret, anger OR just an idealic calm which you get from the water because it’s not rough. Love it :~~) because it makes me think and stirs the imagination :~~)
