This painting was created while spending a very enjoyable morning painting with my son. He may be only three years old but he has been painting since he could wrap his tiny little fingers around a paintbrush.
Watching him splish-splash in the paint this morning inspired me to just let go, let my own inner child take over and let her have some fun. And this is the result…a meditation on pure JOY!
This one has a bit more structure, less fluid, but a great blend. Blue is my favorite color and I love this particular shade, especially with traces of white in it.

How lucky your son is to have such a great mom and how lucky we are to have such a great artist :)
I am very lucky to be his Mommy, he teaches me something wonderful each and every day! Thanks so much for your kind words!

I think I am going to do more bright abstracts like these…
