The Trees At Stobo Castle. by

This was taken on a spring day near the Scottish borders, inside Stobo Castle’s health spa grounds. The health spa itself is an old castle building and very beautiful. The surroundings are very relaxing to with great views and walks across streams and a small lake can be found here too. I changed it to b&w and added a vignetting. For more landscape and b&w images please visit my portfolio, thank you.

Welcome to my beautiful world….
Scotland has such beautiful scenery and I try to capture those wonderful scenes along my travels. You will very often find me on the moors or soaking up the atmosphere of one of the many Lochs Scotland has to offer.
I also have a love of flowers and have a selection of fine art florals in my portfolio. Thank you for stopping by and welcome to my world….

A very intriguing image, looks terrific in b/w like an old print, really gives it the feel of nature and texture. Never think of trying this myself but really like the look of your picture, terrific. Dave

Odd branch – feels like its reaching off the page to draw you in……nice

  • Just something a wee bit different Graeme, it turned out nice for me though as i like images like this, particularly this effect as they become like drawings. Thanks again for your kind comments :)
