Unconditional Love

Project 12: A project that consists of 6 artists and 12 themes/objects (one for each month). Size requirement 8”x10”. To be completed end of 2009.

Our February theme/object was candy hearts. I decided as a way to keep this project consistent, I would use my son as inspiration for the artwork. In keeping with that idea, as a new mom unconditional love is what came to my mind. It may be considered a bit hokey or sentimental, but that’s what happens when you become a parent. I guess my days of doing vulnerable yet spunky women are taking a back seat for a short time…it’s okay with me. But, they will return again. I promise.
