My 8 year old son just ran over with ‘wow! what’s that! Is that a real fish?’ He loves it!

Hey Georgiegirl – this fish was sculpted and then photographed. I have a small wall of mutant fish on the shelf behind me :) Thank your son for me – that was a great compliment.

Wow. Thats a rather interesting sculpture and I adore how the image has this raw feel that somehow feels familiar and yet completely new.

Hiya Amanda- I meant to ask if you were familiar with an artist called Dave Mckean? He follows a similar approach these days and is resposible for stuff like all the covers for Niel Gaiman’s “Sandman” comics. Also great stuff.

Hi Jason, thanks for your posts. Yes I am very familiar with Dave McKean – gorgeous work. My favourite would have to be Signal to Noise which he did with Gaiman several years ago. I am also a fan of David Mack (Kabuki) and Sam Keith (The Maxx/ Four Women) which is also great work.

It’s nice to find another comic aficionado here on the bubble :)

Great color, this creation is a wonderful exposition on what we are doing to the environment!
