Usually I like to keep in all the odd intrincities, but for me I think I would clone out the cable there ..my eye us drawn to it…..fab image tho and really like your processing….well done

  • I appreciate your thoughts Julie Anne, thank you. I did think about cloning it out and normally I would have but decided to leave it in this time. I tried various options with the processing but kept coming back to this. Much appreciated ; )

I understand what Julie-anne is saying, but for me the powerline adds to the evocation of the great Aussie film ‘The Castle’ (which I assume the title alludes to – or maybe I’m wrong!).

  • Thanks Colleen, yes it is a play on that great film. I think that’s why I left it in, normally if something jumps out at me annoys me I will remove it but this seemed to just fit in with the scene. I appreciate your thoughts ; )

Anthony- just ADORE this shot sooooo much- including the lifeline… I have not seen the film…(I know…way outta touch here in some areas…)… but this is purely surreal work. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

  • many thanks Rosie, very happy you like it. I’m not sure it turned out as I pictured it though.
