Usually I like to keep in all the odd intrincities, but for me I think I would clone out the cable there ..my eye us drawn to it…..fab image tho and really like your processing….well done
I appreciate your thoughts Julie Anne, thank you. I did think about cloning it out and normally I would have but decided to leave it in this time. I tried various options with the processing but kept coming back to this. Much appreciated ; )
I understand what Julie-anne is saying, but for me the powerline adds to the evocation of the great Aussie film ‘The Castle’ (which I assume the title alludes to – or maybe I’m wrong!).
Thanks Colleen, yes it is a play on that great film. I think that’s why I left it in, normally if something jumps out at me annoys me I will remove it but this seemed to just fit in with the scene. I appreciate your thoughts ; )
Anthony- just ADORE this shot sooooo much- including the lifeline… I have not seen the film…(I know…way outta touch here in some areas…)… but this is purely surreal work. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
many thanks Rosie, very happy you like it. I’m not sure it turned out as I pictured it though.
