This image just sort of evolved on its own. I’m not sure where I was going with it when I started but this is what I ended up with. There are three images, the main (silhouette) was actually taken on the Great Wall of China but it could be anywhere.

I’m so glad I saw this one come up. This is great Anthony! I love the old war feel to it. Isn’t it awesome when the image creates itself? :)
thanks Andrew, it is actually a mate of mine in an old officers hat he bought at the market there. I don’t think he looks very Chinese though ; )
I agree with Parmi, it’s exciting when you allow an image to create itself…the result is fantastic! Love the layering ..and the imprisoned soldier..very well done Anthony! :-)
thank you Angie, I was wanting to do something with this image for such along time but nothing came to me, then I started mucking around last night and this is what I ended up with. Hope all’s well ; )

many thanks Sandy ; )
I like the idea that this one evolved rather than was part of a masterplan; its very effective :)
There was no plan here Steve, just sort of stumbled my way along, adding and subtracting then sort of hit upon a theme and this is where it ended up. Very happy you like this ; )
Wow! This is different……..and brilliant!!
thanks Rose, I’m very pleased you like it ; )
This is a very cool image, Anthony! The symbolism is unmistakable in its meaning and it reflects (or absorbs – shadows don’t reflect) the inevitable duality of human nature and, indeed, the universe! All that from three merged images?!Nice work, mate!
many thanks Elrobbo, greatly appreciated mate ; )
Nice Anthony, it has a prison guard look about it, very apt with the 40th Berlin Wall anniversary.cheersJohn
