    excellent, very nice vision.

  • Anthony Mancuso replied

thanks very much Mike. it looks a bit odd to me but i can’t place a finger on it?

I think it makes a very striking picture Anthony. The streak of red fence cutting through what is otherwise an almost mono pic, really makes it. I wonder what it would look like if the rest of the photo was truly converted to black and white ?

  • Anthony Mancuso replied

thanks karen, i might give that a try and see what it’s like.

Considering it longer makes me wonder ‘huh?’ but first reaction is ‘Ooh, I like that’. It’s not obvious it’s a fence – just looks like you made the background red (but it looks good regardless).

  • Anthony Mancuso replied

thanks nancy, when i was taking it i thought it might look a bit odd but it didn’t tur out too bad in the end.

looks as though the passion (red fence) has been segmented to form a band of passionate brothers. all for one. inspiring work.

very interesting viewpoint!..... I love it! :))

I like the depth of the foreground, but it leaves the trees above the fence looking too short (unbalanced). I would crop about 1/4 from the bottom. Just one opinion.
    Great abstract and well seen!!

  • Anthony Mancuso replied

thanks for your comment Rany, I will give that a go later on tonight and see how it looks :)

I like it as is, Anthony, with no chopping about. It’s good use of colour and form which works very well.

  • Anthony Mancuso replied

thanks again Jacqi, I’m really glad you like it :)))

This is really interesting – I love the colour of the trees above the fence – so my choice would be leave coloured as is. Im no expert, I wonder what it would look like with the tree on the far left cropped out with a little at the bottom as well… Again I am no expert-but I think a panoramic sort of look might suit it? Without any adjustments its a brilliant shot!

  • Anthony Mancuso replied

thanks again Kelly, I think you could be right about the cropping. I think a panoramic view could suit this image. I might go back and have a look at it again shortly. Thanks

  • mare

    mare

Very striking, and great composition. It almost looks like an apocalypse beyond the forest, rather than a red fence

  • Anthony Mancuso replied

much appreciated Mare, thank you. behind the red fence is a construction site of new buildings and apartments : )
