Artist's Description

Smoke from forest fires hundreds of kilometers away, in the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia shrouds the Lethbridge High Level Bridge and the far bank of the Oldman River valley.

Spanning an unprecedented 1,623.86 m (5,327.625 ft, almost exactly a mile) and soaring just under 100 meters (314 ft) above the riverbed of the Old Man River, in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada; the High Level Bridge (actually officially called the Lethbridge Viaduct) is the longest and highest trestle bridge in the world.

Captured in Indian Battle Park, Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.

Taken with a Canon EOS 50D using a 17-85mm lens @ 70 mm, 1/250 sec., f/9.0, ISO 100.
