Chipping Sparrows like open deciduous and mixed wood forests and woodlands, and are fairly common to common throughout Alberta where this habitat exists.

Chipping Sparrows migrate north into Alberta in May and south again between late August and early October, and at these times are often found in trees with other migrating sparrows and warblers. They are absent in winter. They breed in both rural and urban locations wherever suitable habitat occurs; in residential areas it is not unusual to find them nesting in trees or shrubbery quite close to houses.

I am an amateur photographer living in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.

I enjoy photographing the wonders of the world around me; whether that means capturing images of animals and wildlife, scenic natural landscapes, or man-made wonders.

I travel all over Canada in pursuit of this passion and my dream is to one day be able to do this full-time.

Thank you for your interest in my work,
Alyce Taylor
