Spotted Pardalote on the Road to Mt Buller (1)by Alwyn Simple
My shots of the day for Today. Can you believe that this little bird is less than 3 inches or 8 cm long. The detail is amazing for such a small creature. Stopped to photograph some Flame robins along the side of the road up to Mt Buller and this little bird greeted us. I think I must have been near its nest hole. They dig a hole into a earth bank and build their nest at the end of the tunnel.
Would sure Like to get a capture of one of these Alwyn both the ones you have just posted are stunning indeed well done, just have to fav both, they are grand cheers Rick
Thanks Rick. Yes I could not believe my eyes when I put them up on the screen. I hadn’t realised how beautiful they really were. Thanks for the great comments

Another cracker shot – he looks so pretty – looks like someone painted on the spots!
Thanks Barbie, so you like my photoshop work with the painted spots. Just joking. Thanks for the support and comments.
