This is a very delicate, yet textural painting… it started as a piece of deli paper used to protect my work surface as I painted On Tulip Lane . To my surprise, once the paper had dried, it had a beautiful transparent appearance that made me want to turn it into a stand alone painting.
I decided to engage my fascination with birds and flowers a little more so I added the textural paste to create my version of Paradise!
This painting was made using acrylic, gouache, and ink on deli paper (very thin sandwich paper).
