Summer Triptych I, II, and III are the covers of three separate Creative Candor Books. Although only the covers for each book are being offered as prints; each book actually has a cover that is painted on both sides.

2012 is fast becoming a year of planned progress: I had a few ideas for blending poetry, words of wisdom, motivational aspirations and ART together into creative packages that could be displayed and appreciated. With more excitement than I can contain, my Pretty Panels and Creative Candor abstract art books finally coming to fruition. Hooray!

This is a painting made with Golden acrylics, Jacquard acrylics, mica, watercolor, walnut ink and FW acrylic ink on heavyweight Bristol (vellum finish) paper.

I am a mixed-media artist who is equally at home with a wide range of techniques, including printing with commercially available and self-designed stamps, and a multitude of materials, including paint, ink, canvas, clay, paper, fabric, beads, wire, and wood. I’m also a poet, often working intuitively by weaving wisdom and experience into many of my art projects.

This is a beautiful abstract Angela, I love the colors you’ve used and I’m sure it would have a lovely textured effect in real life.

You have so completely captured summer! Intensity, vibrancy, all-out-glory. Of all the seasons, Summer has the biggest ego (in an innocent fulfilling way). Yesterday I typed in ’abstract art" in the redbubble search and many of your works came up. I previously had not thought of you as an abstract artist, especially since the women in your works are so clear and beautiful…but in a way you are.. pulling so many great ideas together, even in your methodology, to create a cohesive and wonderful work of art.

  • Oh Ken, man you really touched me this morning with this comment! I have been high in spirits all day. Thank you so very much! I even wrote a journal entry about you and this comment along with a little story about why these words mean so much to me! :)
