This is the house that Jack built y’all
It’s just for me so it’s kinda small
I imagined a town where ART reigns supreme
A place to live… to love… to dream.
This is the house Jack built
in the wild little town I imagined!

This is an abstract totally out of my imagination resulting from a session of free play and getting to know my new acrylic paints… :)

This is a painting made with fluid and heavy body acrylics and ink on a recycled watercolor paper card backing (approx 5″×7″).

I’m an abstract-expressionist painter… a mixed media, encaustic, collage artist who uses a non-objective, emotive style of creative expression and visual messaging. I create to survive, to LIVE with more JOY and less pain. ART (plus faith in God) is what sustains me.

Love this, Angela! Just everything about it. Your use of color is superb.

  • Thanks so much, my dear sistah girl! This one has become a favorite of mine… I was going to give it to someone we both know but it has grown on me to the point I can’t separate from it! :)

Congratulations on your wonderful feature! Wonderful image!

  • Thanks so much, Deborah! Got way behind on responding to comments because I forced myself to spend a FINITE amount of time on the computer each day for a month or so; then off to the studio (which is my entire apartment these days) to paint! :)
