This piece is dedicated to JacqueLynn Johnson… a friend, confidant, and fellow RB artist who reached out to embrace me from afar last year. I am so grateful to have her in my world! Recently, she sent me some pictures of where she lives and they just blew me away. The grass, the water, the waves… the surrounding mountains… so very beautiful!
The beautiful scenes of land and water inspired this painting and so I think it only fitting that I give credit where credit is due:

This is a mixed media painting made with watercolor, metallic inks, and acrylic on rice paper.
I am a mixed-media artist who is equally at home with a wide range of techniques, including printing with commercially available and self-designed stamps, and a multitude of materials, including paint, ink, canvas, clay, paper, fabric, beads, wire, and wood. I’m also a poet, often working intuitively by weaving wisdom and experience into many of my art projects.
