I spent the day painting vibrant colors on rice paper just because i love to see the colors blend together so effortlessly… when I’m done, I’m almost always happy with the abstracts and backgrounds I’ve created… this one gave me an earthy feeling

This is a mixed media painting made with watercolor, metallic inks, and acrylic on rice paper.

I’m an abstract-expressionist painter… a mixed media, encaustic, collage artist who uses a non-objective, emotive style of creative expression and visual messaging. I create to survive, to LIVE with more JOY and less pain. ART (plus faith in God) is what sustains me.

Well…it comes across not so much as red (as in FireEngine red), but more like on the rust side; see BM….
