This 9″ × 12″ collage is made from painted rice papers and paper painted with bleach first… then all were painted with acrylic, watercolor, and ink, embellished with glitter dots to add a bit of sparkle and adhered to medium weight watercolor paper for rigidity.
I am a mixed-media artist who is equally at home with a wide range of techniques, including printing with commercially available and self-designed stamps, and a multitude of materials, including paint, ink, canvas, clay, paper, fabric, beads, wire, and wood. I’m also a poet, often working intuitively by weaving wisdom and experience into many of my art projects.
