Featured in Collage with Traditional Mediums November 2011

This is a mixed media collage done in honor of my son (the late Joshua D W Broomfield) and our mutual love for God!

This collage was made using alcohol ink, acrylic paint, metal, and ink on birch wood panel.

wood, collage, wax, encaustic, quotes, words, special friends, friend, friendship, reflections, woman, bible verse, trust, understanding, vibrant, abstract, african american art, sunny day, religion, religious, flowers, summer, color, colorful, art therapy, grief therapy, survivor, creative, creativity, angels, inspiration, women, divine wisdom, messages, faith, angel, journal art, landscape, sisters

I’m an abstract-expressionist painter… a mixed media, encaustic, collage artist who uses a non-objective, emotive style of creative expression and visual messaging. I create to survive, to LIVE with more JOY and less pain. ART (plus faith in God) is what sustains me.
