This was taken along the way to Kinglake, where the Victorian Bush Fire killed 1000+ people and left more homeless. This was taken a year on from the actual fire but you can sell smell the burnt trees and feel as if the fire just happened yesterday.

The sign of new growth on the mountains and mountains of burnt trees were the most welcoming sight I’ve personally seen in a while…
