Hollywood, California. The Hotel Mark Twain, mere blocks from the dream-fueled intersection of Hollywood & Vine. It is a transient hotel and business is booming. There are thousands of homeless people in Hollywood, California. And there seems to be more every time I go there. They are broke, hungry, depressed. Some are dealing with the loss of everything, some are in need of help for mental disorders that are beyond their control, some are veterans of the armed forces who have served their country and their country is letting them down. It’s letting them ALL down. WE are letting them all down!

NO ONE in America should go hungry or be without a stable home. It’s AMERICA.

Keep passing by, “they” don’t matter, anyway.

Right?
