Parade by Ron Hannah

The 4th of July Parade in my hometown of Claremont, California, brings out the whole town!

This year, I participated by marching in the parade. I had my camera hanging around my neck and would randomly point and shoot.

This shot was taken while we waited for the groups ahead of us to move it on. We were almost at the corner. There is SO much going on here, but I especially like the lady with the camera in the foreground! The whole parade lasted about half an hour, which felt like DAYS in the heat, but it was a BLAST to see a parade from the participant’s point of view!
