I was allowed to take my DSLR with the 18-55mm lens in. The 55-200mm lens was not allowed. FINE WITH ME! We were on the rail of the outside ramp in Vegas.
I knew I couldn’t take it in at all in Pasadena. I didn’t even try. Besides, with the way the security fucked up the GA lineup, we left the line and went in to hang out at the back of the floor. People were hurt because the security force (with a collective IQ of 3) didn’t control the idiots in the crowd. People were hurt. Security dropped the ball, and the REAL fans who have been doing this for 3 tours and 8 years were pretty much avoiding the obvious problems that developed!
But I tell you what, once U2 hit the stage, it all came out in the wash!
