Even when the world I knew
Crumbles before my very feet,
And the skies above rain down
Nothing but Death and Deceit,
Even when the ones I love
Break my very heart,
And attempt to tear
The remnants of my mind apart,
Even when my enemies have come
To devour my very skin,
And the odds are stacked against me
So that I could never win,
Even when the Darkness
Threatens to corrupt my very soul,
And says that under it’s will
The forces of Light will bend and fold,
Jesus,
I’ll still call You Lord.

Jesus Christ is not only sovereign over all things in Heaven and Earth, He saw our fate to be clothed in sin and decided that we were to be predestined to be holy and blameless in His eyes before the foundation of the world. He has love and kindness, grace and mercy that pour infinitely out of Him for the entirety of His children. I don’t even know, it’s all just mind boggling. Jesus and everything He is, everything He does for us, it’s just mind blowing. Peace be with you and God bless!
