My love, I thought I lost you.
We can begin our life anew.
No, I haven’t forgotten,
The pledge that I have made.
Of course, I will love you,
Until my dying day.
Oh, my love, I have been faithful.
My thoughts have been of you.
Yet, still, I cannot believe,
Though dead, all I see is you.
