Persephone's Dream
The color green is occurring in many of my recent dreams. It seems to coincide with my deep wish for winter to be over.
I’ve always wished that I lived in a climate in which Spring lasted longer and yet wasn’t so violent. Memories of a trip to Paris a decade ago return with images of Monet’s gardens, blossoms everywhere, gentle breezes, and far fewer insects than here in the Heartland of the USA. Instead, I’ll inevitably be treated to torrential rains, impending tornados, and lively crawling and flying bugs!
The saving grace with be Persephone’s touch, an effusion of green everywhere, a most calming, rejuventating hue for me.

your description sounds like “Home on the farm!” for me…...but your image is too pretty to depict all those “other things” that frequent the various changing seasons….... that fresh green does it for me too…..we are at the end of a long hot and rather nasty summer, and I long for those first rains and to see this colour slowly emerge across the landscape is a reaffirming gift!
