I created this cyborg bee for my Eros project

I remember at the time I was listening to Tori Amos’ Beekeeper album, it’s where I got the idea to depict Eros attacked by bees in the first place. Since then, it’s one of my favorite artworks I’ve ever done.

It was created entirely in Photoshop, all textures and shadows included.

Wonderful. How clever. That is one mother of a sting too! (Love does have it’s sting sometimes….depending on how you deal with it) xx

It is a beautiful and brilliant work of art. I love the look of the wings as well as the depth created by the shadow effects.
