This watercolor painting was inspired by those beautiful flowers I have seen and always be found in my country, Philippines. It have also been a country unique with native flowers. Though some Philippine flowers are found on other countries, these are still considered as a unique native flower coming from the Philippines. Here are some of those flowers: Ylang-Ylang, Sampaguita, Waling-waling, Gumamela and Everlasting flower. The humid, tropical climate of the Philippines is home to a vast array of flowering plants and is considered one of the most biologically diverse countries on Earth by the World Conservation Monitoring Centre. Although many of the plants are native, some are introduced species that have naturalized or otherwise become common throughout the country, often gaining great cultural significance.
