This is a shot, taken on Sunday 28th of June.

Me and diado went up to just by Devils Dyke, just to shoot this field of Poppies!

I saw this shot and couldn’t resist getting a few, this was taken on a telephoto lens, and I had to manually focus the thing, as my Nikon D60 can’t auto focus the lens, I think I did quite well to be honest!

Great Shot! and that Poppy field is just glorious!! The soft focus of that carpet of red behind the subject is wonderful. It would be a wicked self portrait for Diado. Lovely work.

Alix, It would be a lovely self portrait for diado, if diado had indeed taken this, unfortunately it’ll have to do as just a normal portrait of diado, as I took it! lol! ;)

Thank you, I’m always taking shots of diado, with his camera up to his face, he’s not a very willing model you see and the best time to catch him is when he is busy with other things!
I love the lighting of this shot, and feel it’s one of the first Photographs I’m really proud of!
